The new owners of Château de Rozier present you it red wines range and unexpected Rose wine during Vinisud 2010
(Drinks Media Wire). From 2008, the Château de Rozier, AOC Costières de Nîmes (Rhone Valley) were bought by Guillon family. Now the Château de Rozier owns 15 ha on Gress soil (stone of Rhone Valley). Two varieties are in production: Grenache and Syrah, two mains varieties of the Rhone Valley, will be soon completed by some Mourvèdre.
We produce 45 000 bottles by year : 7 000 bottles of Rose wine on the name Château de Rozier, and 38 000 bottles of red wine. We elaborate four different red wines: Galets de Rozier, Dauphin de Rozier, Château de Rozier and Mittifiot. Block selections permit to elaborate an undeniable quality for each wine.
Charmed by the terroir and the quality of the wines produced on the estate, the new owners want absolutely to work out, vintage after vintage, high quality products, worthy of Rhone Valley.
The 2007 vintage, aging and blending by ourselves, is rich, charming and it’s a long-keeping wine. A bottling has been done to show you the subtlety and fineness of the 2008 wine, during Vinisud 2010.
These two vintages very well answer to expectations of Guillon family. The 2009 vintage present a novelty, a Rose wine fruity, with sweetness and shown off by our terroir, which perfectly complete the range wine. This novelty is an inevitable appointment during Vinisud exhibition 2010.
